The Music School of San Mateo operates all year long, with breaks in June, August and September.
The school year begins with a four-month first semester in the fall (October - January). Applications are accepted beginning in May.
Our second semester (February - May) applications are available for returning students as well as new applicants in December.
We also offer a four-week Summer Music and Art program beginning in June (one week) and July (three weeks). Applications are accepted as early as April. Parents may choose the most convenient week or weeks for their children. Children may attend for only one week or for all four weeks if desired.
If there are openings in on-going sessions, we will accept children for partial sessions on an individual basis, pro-rating tuition to fit the number of weeks attended. Permission will be granted by one of the directors of the school, if appropriate.
